The breathtaking colorful floral garden deco print used on this 1930's silk satin gown ensemble has a fresh innocence that I find irresistible. The bodice is a seductive low-cut plunge with dramatic sweetheart piping and the same piping work as gorgeous shoulder straps. I adore the covered buttons down the back. The sculpted waist falls into a flattering bias-cut. The piece work to create the skirting in particular is extraordinary. The stylized charm of the puff-sleeve bolero jacket personify the feminine ideal in clothing. It is amazing that a dress set with this amount of history and presence can read so modern. Extremely romantic and rare!
