A gorgeous Christian Dior deco print show-stopper dating back to their 1973 spring/summer collection. When the talented Marc Bohan took over as head designer in 1960, he continued the Dior tradition of elegant design and this beautiful dress is a wonderful example. The garment is fashioned in a stunning mid-weight rose pink polished cotton. The unique art-deco square pattern adds so much depth and movement. I love the wide collar button-down plunge which tampers into an hourglass belted waist. The sculpted drop-waist with alluring pleated swing skirt gives the dress a very flattering silhouette. As Dior himself once said, "Elegance must be the right combination of distinction, naturalness, care and simplicity." This exquisite garment is a wonderful mix of these elements.
