An exceptional and breathtaking 1940's novelty under-the-sea sundress by the talented designer, Marion McCoy. The fabric itself is a masterpiece; gorgeous mid-weight ivory linen with colorful sealife embroidery and jeweled beadwork. The applique work is actual 3-dimensional shells. There are also prong-set rhinestones so you get a hint of sparkle everytime you move. How adorable is that seahorse and baby crab? The reddish orange woven cotton bodice has a chic criss-cross plunge design with bow-tie accented ruched cap sleeves. My favorite part is the sash waist sweeping circle-skirt! For every woman, novelty dresses are a fashion must-have. It's a style for all ages, simply because it exudes an undeniably youthful flair, and yet remains incredibly timeless. An extraordinary piece of wearable art!
