1980's Victor Costa Aqua-Blue Taffeta Strapless Bombshell Gown
Sensational pale-aqua taffeta starlet gown by the famous Victor Costa. I adore the seductive low-plunge sweetheart strapless bodice that is completely ruched from bust to hip. The femme-fatale skirt falls in a long straight column and has a flirty slit at the center back. Just when you think this garment could not get any better, you find two huge flattering poufs at the hips over a long full train that falls free of the skirt and trails six-inches longer than the dress. As Victor Costa once said, "Special occasion dresses have always been the hallmark of my business. My quest for what is new sends me around the world. It is a sense of pride and fulfillment that some of the most noted and important women in the world are wearing my clothes."
Length top to waist:9.5 inches
Length top to hem:53 inches (Train is 6 inches longer in back)
This vintage designer dress is in excellent condition with no rips, stains or holes. Perfectly working back-zipper and the bodice is completely boned for support. This garment is over 20 years old and is truly timeless.
