1920's Turquoise-Blue & Metallic Gold-Lame Deco Evening Coat
Fernand Savary of 15 Rue D'Uzes Paris was one of the smaller couture houses operating during the art-deco era. This breathtaking garment, all hand-stitched, is fashioned in turquoise-blue and metallic gold-lame printed silk. I love the low-cut plunge neckline and 3/4-length sleeves. Couture collectors are often drawn initially to the brilliance of vintage textiles. The mix of stunning fabrics, along with its complex construction, makes this a Parisian rarity.
Total Length:45 inches
This antique french evening coat is in excellent wearable condition with no visible stains, rips or holes. Only sign of age is some discoloration to the inner silk lining. This garment is over 90 years old and is truly breathtaking in person.
