There are lots of lovely 1920's garments still around, but every once in a while I come across one that sets my heart a flutter! This is an incredibly unique 1920's sage-green silk dress with a captivating Chinese architecture scenic print. I love encountering new novelty patterns in antique garments and this beauty is constructed with alluring details as well. The bodice has a build-in chiffon underlay with elegant beaded short-sleeves. There is a flattering drop-waist with gorgeous smocking and a wide sash. This beautiful beaded floral panels along the skirt give the garment so much depth and texture. The pictures say it all.

This 1920's Chinese novelty print dress is is good condition with no stains or alternations. Presents beautifully. Garment closes with side metal snaps, base camisole and silk chiffon built-in underlay. As shown, the garment sadly has holes from age, most noticeable by the shoulders. Due to the fragile nature of this 100 year old garment, we feel she is best for display, photoshoots and study. Priced accordingly. Message for detailed pictures.
