Vibrant and rare-to-find bright orange André Courrèges dress dating back to the early 1970's. Courreges launched his Space-Age collection in 1964. The shapes of his clothes were geometric: squares, trapezoids, triangles. The main features of his ultra-modern, uncluttered look spread quickly throughout the fashion world, especially the miniskirt, which he introduced to France. This stunning orange wool dress, from this popular Hyperbole line, is a proper example of his vision. The garment featured his famous white snap buttons and Courrèges initials logo. The bodice has a chic wide-strap sleeveless design with flattering built-in waist belt. My favorite part is the over-sized side pockets which is a signature Courreges touch.
