  • 1970 Pauline Trigere Documented Green Feather Silk Strapless Gown & Wrap

Exceptional Pauline Trigere designer green feather black silk-chiffon gown dating back to her fall-winter 1970 collection. During this time period, Pauline Trigere name was part of the glamorous excess in Hollywood fashion. Her exquisite tailoring and feminine fitting clothing were highly desired by the wealthy and famous. Trigere designs commanded some of the highest prices often because they were made with very expensive materials. This stunning ensemble is a perfect example of her genius. The fabrics used together create a total masterpiece; the green feathers give the dress drama while the black semi-sheer creates such elegance. The corset strapless bodice let's one style the over-sized wrap in the number of ways. This figure flattering column gown accentuates the bust while skimming the hips. It is impeccably seamed and on the level of modern day couture. This is that showstopper every fashionista looks for. The pictures say it all.

    Measurements
    Bust: 32 inches
    Waist: 24 inches
    Hips: up to 36 inches
    Wrap Total Length: 110 inches

This Pauline Trigère designer dress set is in excellent wearable condition with no rips, stains or holes. Corset bodice structure with back hand-set snaps and zipper. Only sign of wear is a few missing feathers which is so hard to notice when worn. Please message for detailed pictures. As shown, featured in September Vogue 1970 and also resembles the current 2021 fall-winter Bottega Veneta collection. This Pauline Trigere was most likely inspired by the iconic 1967 Balenciaga sleeveless feathered gown. A true slice of wearable museum quality fashion history.
