  • 1970 Yves Saint Laurent Corset Lace-Up Mutton Sleeve Velvet Blouse & Maxi Skirt

Gorgeous Yves Saint Laurent block color velveteen Renaissance style ensemble from the infamous 1970 Rive Gauche collection. Pieces from this decade are very rare and are true examples of fashion history. Some of Yves Saint Laurent's most dramatic historical homages look back to the nineteenth century and even further to Renaissance and Elizabethan periods. The period of the “Belle Époque,” late in the nineteenth-century in France, held a particular fascination for him. I adore the corset style lace-up front and chic mutton sleeves. The matching skirt has a flattering nipped-waist and hidden side pockets. With this rare Yves Saint Laurent set, you have one complete outfit or amazing separates.

    Measurements
    Blouse Bust: 35-36 inches
    Waist: 26 inches
    Total Length: 18 inches
    Skirt Waist: 25 inches
    Hips: up to 42 inches
    Total Length: 43 inches

This rare YSL documented designer ensemble is in excellent condition with no rips, stains or holes. Perfectly working side metal-zipper. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
