Breathtaking 2008 marabou feather show-stopper from the late and great Alexander Mcqueen. He was known for combining superb tailoring with a dramatic aesthetic inspired by various historical periods, British and Celtic tribalism and sexually charged fetish wear. McQueen's thematic shows were as much theater as fashion, with each piece of clothing worked into a dramatic narrative plotted by McQueen. I love the vibrant sapphire-blue color and short wide sleeves. A hard-to-find and early Alexander McQueen treasure with endless possibilities. When one needs an alternative to fur, but still wants a glamorous garment to warm you up and not weigh you down, feathers are a wonderful choice.
