The breathtaking baby-pink and green camellias floral-garden print used for this late 1920's French chiffon ensemble has a fresh innocence that I find irresistible. The semi-sheer wrap dress has a beautiful low-cut plunge trimmed with high-quality Chantilly lace. I love the flattering tied drop-waist and heavily detailed lean, long sleeves. The piece work to create this skirting in particular is extraordinary; hand stitched micro-pleated which must have taken days. The stylized charm of the matching scarf-neck black plisse-chiffon coat personify the feminine ideal in clothing. It is amazing that a set with this amount of presence can literally feel almost weightless but it does. I wouldn't be surprised if this creation was by a famous designer such as Chanel, as it has all the hallmarks of a couture piece from this era. The pictures say it all.
