Breathtaking 1920's French metallic silver lamé and emerald-green jeweled flapper headpiece. This is, without a doubt, one of the most extraordinary antique crowns I have ever laid eyes on. Large scale jewels, sequins and glass-beads with tons of sparkle all done by hand on a gorgeous metallic backing. Impressive 3-dimensional soutache deco embroidery throughout trimmed with pearls. I adore the dangling loop fringe sides which really captures the era. You can either wear it upright as a crown or fitted closer to the head, depending upon how one styles. This treasure has true opulent character and very hard to find in such wonderful condition as this one is in.
This headpiece will fit a range of sizes from 22 to 25 inches around due to the back loop-closure. In excellent condition for an antique piece this delicate. Truly exquisite and an investment piece that will only increase in value.
