This breathtaking and unbelievable French couture made royal purple coat will make any woman light up a room. The metallic gold embroidery adds the perfect amount of shimmer to the luxurious silk-velvet. I love the 3-dimensional Art Nouveau bullion floral motif throughout. The garment has gorgeous 3/4-length bell sleeves and is designed to be left open. Extravagant garments from the 1920's are difficult to find, especially in unique colors! The easy-to-wear silhouette embodies the flapper's "party till dawn" attitude while the opulent fabrics whisper "wealth and status." The mark of a truly fashionable garment is that it remains stylish and timeless 90 years later, as does this sumptuous couture treasure. The pictures say it all.

I wouldn't be surprised if this creation was by a famous French designer, as it has all the hallmarks of an Haute-Couture piece from this era. An investment piece that will increase in value.
