If you were an "It Girl" in London during the 1960's and 1970's, Biba is where you would have shopped. This beautiful and ultra-rare cream lace tea dress is a perfect example of the brand's genius. We were thrilled to find the original 1969 magazine editorial and the garment is also highlighted in the book "The Biba Years" written by Barbara Hulanicki and Martin Pel. The dress is fashioned from a soft mid-weight cream lace with scalloped crochet trimming throughout. It has all the classic hallmarks of Biba's best; the skinny capped shoulders, gorgeous high-neck and dramatic winged flutter sleeves. The tea-length swing skirting with no defined waist is so effortless to wear. Would be fantastic for any summer event or a beautiful bridal moment. One of the prettiest Bibas I have ever seen!
