If you were an "It Girl" in London during the 1960's and 1970's, Biba is where you would have shopped. This beautiful shimmering copper maxi dress is a perfect example of the brand's genius. It is a soft mid-weight satin with all the classic hallmarks of Biba's best- the skinny high capped shoulders, over the top billow-balloon sleeves and a seductive low-cut plunge. My favorite detail is the flattering back-belted sash. The silhouette really channels that 1930's femme-fatale look Biba's founder, Barbara Hulanicki, loved so much. One of the prettiest Bibas I have ever seen.
Bust: 36-37 inches
Hips: 38 inches
Sleeve Length: 29 inches (due to billow-design)
Total Length: 58 inches
This Biba designer dress is in good condition with no rips or holes. Only sign of age are some faint watermarks to the satin which are hard to notice when worn. Please message for detailed pictures. An early Biba piece that is extremely collectible and infinitely wearable.
