This is such a romantic and ethereal 1950's silk-satin party dress from the iconic Ceil Chapman label. Ceil Chapman was an American designer who successfully took Paris haute couture designs that most woman coveted and made high-quality dresses that more woman could attain. She is often said to be Marilyn Monroe’s favorite designer and I can totally see why. You can't help but feel feminine in this beauty! The fabric itself is a masterpiece; silk satin that has been embellished with hand-stitched gold metallic thread, sparkling prong set rhinestones and large faux pearls in a stunning floral motif. The elegant draped shelf-bust bodice has wide straps that curve over each shoulder and showcase the collarbones. An hourglass nipped-waist met by the full circle-skirt finishes this garment off with a perfect New Look silhouette.
Bust: 33-34 inches

This Ceil Chapman designer dress is in excellent condition with no rips, holes or alternations. Perfectly working back metal-zipper and bodice boning.
