An absolutely stunning Ceil Chapman documented 'Waterfall' silver silk-satin gown dating back to her iconic 1954 collection. Perfect for any upcoming special event; you can't help but feel glamourous in this beauty! The garment is fashioned from luxurious mid-weight silk satin in the most perfect pale silver color. I love the ruched shelf-bust plunge with slight off-shoulder bodice. The inside has wonderful support boning to help keep the shape. The fitted nipped waist hourglass silhouette met by a dramatic backside waterfall bustle really finishes the garment off with a perfect Old Hollywood vibe. The construction is so fresh and modern yet also still has a timeless quality. Ceil Chapman is often said to be Marilyn Monroe's favorite designer and I can totally see why. A beautiful piece of American fashion history that you will treasure for years and years to come.

Bust: 34-35 inches
Waist: 26 inches
Hips: up to 38 inches
Total Length: 57 inches

This Ceil Chapman designer gown is in very good condition with no noticeable rips, holes or stains. Presents beautifully. Perfectly working back metal-zipper and fully-boned bodice. After very close inspection we did find some faint watermarks, slight discolor to the silk satin from age and some wear by the inner seams. Please message for detailed pictures. Would made a gorgeous bridal moment for a modern wedding or a showstopper at any gala.
