Breathtaking Christian Dior designer documented ensemble dating back to Fall-Winter 1963. The House of Dior has been an enduring icon of haute couture. When the talented Marc Bohan took over as head designer in 1960, he continued the Dior tradition of elegant design. This beautiful three-piece suit is a perfect example of his talent. The fabric used for this garment is breathtaking; sparkling metallic-lame threaded multi-colored, silk-lined wool. The jacket is an open-front fitted silhouette with the matching sleeveless blouse underneath. The flattering skirt is a high-waisted hourglass pencil-wiggle. As Dior said, "I will only say now that elegance must be the right combination of distinction, naturalness, care and simplicity." This luxurious ensemble is a wonderful mix of these elements.
