A rare Christian Dior documented silver vinyl mini dress dating back to their 1970 spring/summer collection. The Colifichets boutique was found on the ground floor of the Dior Haute Couture atelier at 30 Avenue Montaigne in Paris. It allowed Dior to expand his clientele beyond his Haute Couture clients. The pieces were still made in house and to demi-couture standards. This rare-to-find piece was also the 1970 uniform of hostesses to welcome the French Pavilion of the Exposition Universelle in Osaka. I love the over-sized mod side pocket and micro mini length. Perfect with thigh-high boots or patterned tights. Highly wearable and an investment piece that will continue to increase in value.
