This early 1960's treasure is fashioned in the most stunning ivory creme color, featuring iridescent sequins. The base is an ultra-soft wool knit. This beauty is trimmed with gold beadwork and sparkling jewels in a paisley motif design. Though the wide scoop neck hourglass fit is rather seductive, the 3/4-length sleeves give it a balanced elegance that Gene Shelly is known for. I love the nipped-waist hourglass wiggle skirt with side slit! This is the type of garment celebrity vixens, like Marilyn Monroe, made infamous.
