Stunning 1950's Gigi Young designer rose floral print dress fashioned in a luxorious light-weight woven silk. Gigi Young was not an actual person, but the name of a dress manufacturing company that made affordable versions of haute-couture Parisian designs throughout the 1950's. The Gigi Young silhouette of cinched nipped waists and full circle-skirts were extremely popular and a quality interpretation of Christian Dior's famous New Look. The print itself is a masterpiece; large scale pink and yellow watercolor roses with an elegant blush background. This beautiful garment has the most flattering wide-strap halter with hourglass drop waist. I just love that full heavily pleated circle-skirt design. A timeless classic for any modern event.
