In this gorgeous Jane Derby designer ensemble, the detailed construction and meticulous attention to detail are comparable to what you will find in modern couture. Jane Derby was known as a high-end New York boutique, opening in 1936. In 1965, the famous Oscar de la Renta took over as head designer for the company and this dates back to right before the shift. This enchanting garment, fashioned from vibrant golden yellow silk satin, is perfect for any fancy affair. The gown has a gorgeous thin-strap hourglass belted bodice with a flirty back-bow. The silhouette is breathtaking; a flattering nipped-waist met by a two-layered, pleated full-length swing skirt. Just when you think this garment couldn't get any prettier, the matching cropped jacket comes along. I love the sensational Chanel-style quilting and tassel motif throughout. Both garments are divine together but the jacket also looks incredibly chic alone.
