A breathtaking gown ensemble by Jean LeFebure who operated a small couture house during the 1960's. The stunning magenta-pink and orange watercolor combination used in this garment has a fresh modern vibe that I find irresistible. The bodice is a low-cut plunge heavily-draped fit. I love the floral-applique on the matching cape! The piece work to create the draped skirting in particular is extraordinary; it skims the body and creates a beautiful hourglass look. The stylized charm of the layered design personify the feminine ideal in clothing. It is amazing that a dress with this amount of detail and presence can literally feel almost weightless but it does. So unique and rare!
