Seductive Jean-Louis Scherrer numbered couture gown dating back to the early 1970's. Jean-Louis studied fashion at the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture in Paris and once finished, began working at the house of Dior alongside Yves Saint Laurent. It was at Dior that he perfected his cutting and draping skills. In 1962, Scherrer began his own couture house and was instantly known for his elegant evening wear. This breathtaking sapphire-blue velvet and black silk-chiffon dress is a wonderful example of his genius. The bodice is a beautiful mock turtleneck with lean, long button-wrist sleeves. The panels cover all private parts while the sheer-illusion concept showcases your feminine curves . The dramatic mermaid flounce skirting finishes this garment off with the perfect "femme fatale" vibe. I totally see this couture gown gliding down the red carpet.
