Truly a wonderful and unusual couture cocktail dress by Marbel of Madrid. I think this show-stopper is one of the best examples of 1960's mod fashion I have seen in a long time. The design was obviously inspired by Pierre Cardin's iconic dress worn by Mia Farrow in "A Dandy in Aspic" which was the aspiring look of the time. This treasure has a fantastic abstract floral motif worked in, featuring colorful three-dimensional sequins. The base is a soft cobalt-blue silk so you sparkle while in comfort! The sleeveless a-line silhouette flatters a woman's seductive shape without adding any bulk or volume to the actual hips. A timeless classic for any modern event!
