This is an incredible rare, early 1970's Norma Kamali piece that really should be in a museum as it is from one of her first collections. The design is simply breathtaking; an appliqued scenic forest all hand-stitched with felt. The care to piece this together after carefully selecting matching hues must have taken days. I love the seductive lace-up bodice and long,lean sleeves. The pictures really say it all and it is even more unbelievable in person. This rare designer garment is in very good wearable condition with no discoloration or rips. The felt as thinned in a few places from age and there are a few spots which I have not tried to clean due to the historic nature of the piece. This item is over 30 years old and is truly exquisite.
