A gorgeous early 1990's Oscar de la Renta black silk tiered-ruffle jacket which cost well over $4,000 when new. Oscar de la Renta was one of the world's leading fashion designers. Trained by Cristóbal Balenciaga and Antonio Castillo, he became internationally known in the 1960's as one of the couturiers to dress Jacqueline Kennedy. This exquisite evening coat is a wonderful example of his genius. This divine garment has tiers of black ruffles and is lined in the finest organza. The movement on this showstopper is definitely next level. The jacket closes with a single hook and eye closure at the top and has chic 3/4-length short sleeves. This is that versatile piece every fashionista looks for. Perfect with slacks or for the dressiest occasion.

Bust: up to 42 inches

This Oscar de la Renta designer garment is in excellent condition with no rips, stains or holes. As pictured, this coat is a wonderful nod to his 1969 documented collection. Oscar de la Renta has always had a love for ruffles, so to bring it in the early 1990's seems extra special. A wonderful wearable investment piece that will only go up in value.
